About
Serge de Beer
I work where learning, technology and media meet, building AI applications that make it into daily work and stay there.
My background is in education and in media production. In both worlds the same thing holds: something that looks good in a demo is not yet a working solution. What counts is whether it survives on the floor, with people who never asked for it.
That attitude shapes how I work with AI. An agent, to me, is not a clever trick but an employee in the making: you describe what it should be able to do, you train it, you assess it and you let it grow. That is exactly why AgentTrainer exists, and exactly why Log2Learn measures development over time instead of a single snapshot.
I work independently and directly. You deal with me, not with an account manager. What I build runs on European hosting and stays yours — including the content inside it.
Over the years I have worked for schools and universities, training companies, government bodies and industry. From vocational colleges to the Dutch national police, from a regional hospital to Philips.

Send a message describing what is going on. You will get a concrete answer about what is and is not realistic — not a sales pitch.
